Henna Black (Hair Dye)

Packaging: 50 gm per packet

Henna is a natural plant coloring for the hair; made from the powdered leaves of a desert shrub plant, Lawsonia. The Henna we offer is 100% natural and organically grown, and is free from pesticide residues, with no synthetic additives or artificial coloring agents.

Henna contains hannatannic acid which, when mixed with hot water, will coat the hair. It seals in oils and tightens the hair cuticle, giving your hair a rich, healthy shine. Henna has no lightening action, so the shade that you choose will depend on your hair color (natural or tinted), and it must be noted that Henna will not work as a colorant if your hair is more than 10% grey. Its effects will last up to 3 months. Instructions are included with each order.

Short fine hair requires 30 – 45 gm oz. Medium length hair: 45 gm – 75 gm Long hair: 75 gm – 120 gm. Choose from: Black, Dark Brown

How To Use:

Henna may be applied to wet or dry hair that is clean. Towel dry hair if you wish to shampoo first. Apply cream or oil around the hairline, ears, and neck to avoid staining your skin.

More liquid can be added if the mixture is too think. Add 1 egg, 2-4 Tbsp olive oil, or 2-4 Tbsp plain yogurt for dry hair or 2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar to help gray hair absorb the color.
