Biluochun (Piluochun) 碧螺春
Biluochun is a Green Tea that is also one of the 10 Chinese famous teas. Dongting Biluochun Green Tea is renowned for its strong fruity aroma and mellow flavor because for hundreds of years the tea plants mixed in among a variety of fragrant fruit trees to give the tea its natural fruity aroma and taste.
The name Biluochun literally means “green snail spring”. It is called so because it is a green tea that is rolled into a tight spiral, resembling snail meat, and is cropped in early spring.
Supreme grade Biluochun is a fruity taste, floral aroma, Smooth, Mellow Sweet. With distinct Showy white hairs and early cropping.
Recommendation for brewing water:
Mineral water or filtered running water.
Temperature is near 90 Celsius and not lower than 85 Celsius. (Too hot like boiling water should be avoided. )
